Each year the museum welcomes hundreds of artworks delivered to us from elementary art teachers (people who are among our personal heroes!) throughout Kalamazoo County. The Young Artists of Kalamazoo County exhibition is one that makes us all stop and smile, and remember why we got into the museum business. Typically, the opening weekend is one of our busiest all year, drawing thousands of families and loved ones following their proud artist in search of that ONE special painting, drawing, collage, or sculpture.

While we are sad that we won’t see you in person this year, we are gratified to bring you the exhibition in a new way with these images so we can still celebrate and enjoy all the joy, color and creativity these young K-8 students have brought to their art.
