Educate & Learn

The KIA organizes classes offer students a wide array of skills, including drawing, creative writing, ceramics, wellness and printmaking. Scholarship programs and member discounts allow everyone an opportunity to participate.

The KIA offers learning opportunities for all ages, and welcomes more than 50,000 visitors each year. A robust calendar of exhibitions, programs, receptions, and art-making opportunities can be found each month.

The Meader Fine Arts Library features literature and non-fiction about art, cinema, and more. Hosting monthly book discussions, our library is the premier destination for bibliophiles, art enthusiasts, and casual readers.

The KIA is dedicated to supporting educators of all kinds. We welcome and engage with public and private school teachers, homeschooling families, community educators, and college faculty.

Guided tours are led by highly trained volunteer docents. We welcome groups of 10 or more by appointment. Special tours are available for student groups. All ages are welcome.

We will customize a rewarding opportunity for your team to work together in a relaxed, studio atmosphere with an experienced artist/instructor on either individual or group artwork.
