Kirk Newman Art School Faculty Review
November 19, 2011 - January 22, 2012
The Kirk Newman Art School is distinguished by the quality of its faculty. All are practicing artists who work in a wide variety of media and styles. Featuring recent work by the school’s faculty members, this biennial exhibition includes ceramics, painting, printmaking, watercolor, jewelry, weaving, sculpture and other media. A special focus will be on the work of James Riegel, who recently retired from his position as Head of Photography in the school.
Celebrate a century of art as the KIA turns 100! General admission to the museum is FREE throughout July, thanks to the generous support of Jim and Carol Carter, the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation, PNC Bank, The Santreece Foundation, and Warner Norcross + Judd LLP.
