PHOTOGRAPHY

Students will shoot, develop, and print black-and-white film photos in the KIA’s well-equipped traditional darkroom. Beginning students will master the basics of photography’s history, as well as fundamentals of composition and design. Advanced students will build upon skills from previous semesters, and work towards building a thematic photo series. Cameras and all materials will be provided.
DRAWING AND PAINTING

An independent study oriented class with one-on-one instruction provided with an emphasis on the exploration of visual culture through drawing and painting mediums and subject matter.
