Early registration for KNAS classes, workshops, and camps begins one week prior to open registration to non-members. All memberships are good for one year (unless otherwise noted). All memberships are non-refundable. A portion of the memberships at the Friend level and above are tax deductible.

Give the Gift of Membership
Gift memberships must be purchased in-person at the KIA’s front desk. Gift membership cards must be redeemed in-person by the recipient. The recipient’s membership is valid for 1 (one) year from the date of redemption. Membership gift cards do not expire. Gift membership purchases are not eligible for 10% membership discount.

Director’s Circle
Director’s Circle includes all membership benefits at the “Benefactor” level, recognition in the KIA lobby and our website, 1-hour research session with librarian in Mary & Edwin Meader Fine Arts Library (to be scheduled in advance with librarian), two parking passes for the annual KIA Arts Fair, and tickets to the Director’s Circle event.

The Kalamazoo Art League
Serving the KIA, our members, and the community since 1955.
A motivated and dedicated volunteer organization, the Kalamazoo Art League actively promotes the KIA mission by sponsoring an annual lecture series that hosts experts who study, create, curate, or write about art. In addition to the lecture series, Art League plans depARTures (day and overnight trips) to experience art in other museums and communities, plus book discussions and other initiatives reflecting members’ desire to learn about visual arts.
All members of the KIA are eligible to become members of the Art League. Dues are $40, but members must also belong to the KIA.

Memberships last one year. They expire at the end of the purchase month in the next calendar year.
Password reset emails will only be received if they are directed to the email that is registered to your membership account. This email address will be on your membership card (if card was received after May 2024). Please contact Caroline Miota, our Membership & Database Associate at or (269) 585-9297 for assistance recovering your login email.
To receive your membership discount, sign in to your membership account and select the “Member Student” ticket option for your desired program.
Yes, the KIA is a part of Museums for All, which provides discounted rates for museum admission and memberships. Please bring the applicable identification for your program to receive these discounts.
You can renew your membership online by selecting “Join/Renew” on the level at which you would like to renew. You can also contact Caroline Miota, our Membership & Database Associate, at (269) 585-9297 to renew over the phone with a credit card. The KIA front desk is also able to renew memberships both over the phone or in-person. If mailing a check, please address all mail to 314 S Park Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
The KIA’s membership levels are updated as of July 2024. You can renew your membership at a new level online by selecting “Join/Renew” on the level at which you would like to renew. All KIA memberships are eligible for the Southwest Michigan Cultural Exchange program in October. Participating organizations include: the Air Zoo, Gilmore Car Museum, Kalamazoo Nature Center, Binder Park Zoo and Kellogg Bird Sanctuary. Memberships at the Friend level and higher receive free admission to all NARM and ROAM affiliated organizations.
Your membership packet will include an acknowledgment letter with tax information, your membership cards, and a coupon for our Gallery Shop.
