Julie Devers

Studio 3 – Ceramic Studio
Julie Devers joined the KNAS faculty in 2001 and is now the Head of the Ceramics Department. In 2004 Julie assumed the oversight and management of the KIA’s Anagama Kiln which fires twice a year, an incredibly rare and unique opportunity for KNAS students and artists. Julie is a ceramicist, teacher, artist and owner of Newgrange Pottery. You can see and connect with Julie in her natural habitat as she creates and talks about her work in KNAS Studio 3.

Brent Harris

Studio 1 – Sculpture Studio
Brent Harris, friend and colleague of the late Kirk Newman, joined the KNAS in 2019 and is now the Head of 3D Media & School Safety. He is a transdisciplinary artist, teacher and owner of “Art of Life and Death” which incorporates end of life work, nature based rights of passage, and creative art making/storytelling. Connect with Brent in his element and be inspired by his use of materials as he shares more about his work and creative practice in KNAS Studio 1.

Experience additional demonstrations throughout the building with Kirk Newman Art School Faculty and Artists Charles Coates (print making), Gayle Reyes (rope making), and Emily Wohlscheid (spinning).
