This first-ever event for the KIA celebrates the art of printmaking and welcomes the community to witness how a large steamroller can be used as a printing press to produce vibrant, large-scale prints from relief carvings.
During the event, Kirk Newman Art School faculty and students will be printing new works in the KIA’s South Street parking lot and will be assisting community printmakers throughout the day. Community members can also enjoy free, hands-on printmaking demos throughout the day in silkscreen, etching, woodblock, and more.
Event will run from 9am to 6pm on Saturday, September 28 rain or shine. Join us!
