Join Richard Lou, whose work is featured in Unmasking Masculinity, Kalamazoo-based sculptor Brent Harris, and moderator Michael Stone-Richards for an examination of the important role that the land plays in their work. Our environments are central to how we think about ourselves and our place in the world. These three unique voices come together to talk about how the land has influenced their art, activism, and academic practices. They will also consider how the land can inform one’s sense of self, and how disconnection from the land informs identities, as well.
