Seth Green has been making pottery for over twenty years and currently serves as Associate Professor of Ceramics at Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW), in Fort Wayne, IN. International travel has been a major contributor to his growth and development as an artist and has heavily influenced his ceramic vessels. His presentation will include experiences of his influential travels to Turkey to study Islamic architecture and to Prague to study Baroque and Romanesque architecture. Additionally, he will discuss his love for wood firing and how he uses the wood kiln as a tool to create metallic surfaces on his work.
